Duratuf manufactures electrical insulating mats to IEC 61111:2009, the international standard for voltage rated insulating rubber matting used to protect personnel from electric shock while working near live electrical equipment. The range covers five voltage classes from Class 0 through Class 4, rated for use voltages from 1 kV up to 36 kV, with each class proof tested and dielectric tested well above its stated working voltage, and construction free from any fabric insertion, using natural rubber and synthetic polymer compounds. The mats carry a minimum mechanical puncture resistance of 70 N, hold up after accelerated ageing at 70 degrees Celsius, resist acids and oils, and are rated for continuous use from minus 25 to plus 55 degrees Celsius, which suits both indoor switchgear rooms and outdoor installations across varying climates. Duratuf supplies these mats in standard roll sizes with either a textured or fine ribbed antiskid finish, along with custom thickness, width, and colour on request, aimed at EHS managers, safety officers, and procurement teams sourcing certified electrical safety flooring for substations, transformer rooms, and control panel areas across international markets including the Middle East and GCC region.
